| What is a WTT team? |
A team roster should have at least 8-10 players (men and women). A match can be played with as few as two men and two women. This allows for periods of rest and missing matches.
* A team may have more than 10 players on their roster as long as at least 50% of their roster is employees. * Please note that only 10 players may advance to the Nationals from each team.
|
| |
| Corporate League Rules: |
- At least 50% of your team has to be employees.
- Players must compete in at least 2 matches to be eligible to advance with their team.
- A team must have at least 2 employees present to play at each match.
- Divisions are based on the team average NTRP rating of the top two men and top two women.
- Players must be 18 or over to play in the league.
|
| |
| Local League Rules: |
| Players may be added to your team once the season has started, as long as that players NTRP rating does not raise the team average above their existing division. |
| |
| Captain's Responsibilities: |
Captain’s responsibilities include the following:
o Recruit players for your corporate team
o Register your team on www.wtt.com by May 31, 2013
o Register your players

| |
| Determining Team Rating |
The average NTRP rating of the top two men and top two women players on your team determines the team rating.
| Example: |
| Joe - 4.5 |
Mary - 3.5 |
| Tom - 4.5 |
Jill - 3.5 |
| Bill - 4.0 |
Gail - 3.5 |
| Jim - 3.5 |
Joan - 3.0 |
|
|
The best two men and two women are: 4.5 + 4.5 + 3.5 + 3.5 = 16. 16 divided by 4 equals 4.0. This team could register for the 4.0 division or a higher division. A team consists of a minimum of two men and two women. Although the limit to the number of team members is ten, the suggested number of players is three men and three women. | |
| Are there different divisions? |
