All Points Tennis Summer League
2017 All Point Tennis Summer League

What is World TeamTennis?
WTT is co-ed teams competing in a format that consists of 6 sets. One set each of men’s and women’s doubles followed by men’s and women’s singles, ending with 2 sets of mixed doubles. Total games won from all sets determines the winner. Substitutions and coaching are allowed during the match. Click here to view WTT Rules

What is a WTT team?
A team must have two men and two women, as a minimum. The maximum roster size for local play is 12 players (for teams advancing, only 10 players may advance). This allows for periods of rest and missing matches. We also provide a list of registered substitutes for team back-ups.

Who can play?
Adults (18 & over) may sign up as a team or as an individual. As long as a player turns 18 years of age prior to 12/31/2016, he/she is eligible to play in the league.

For USTA rated players, the Year End 2015 (scheduled to be released 11/30/15) will be used. Self-rated players and players with expired USTA ratings are encouraged to join the league.

When do leagues start?
Play begins in mid-late May, and continues through the end of July or early August, depending on the division. Matches will begin at 6:00pm.

3.0 and 3.5 division matches will be played on Sunday evenings
4.5 division matches will be played on Monday evenings
4.0 division matches will be played on Thursday evenings

No matches will be scheduled on holiday weekends - 5/29, 5/30, 6/19, 7/3 & 7/4.

Sign-Up Deadline:
The deadline to enter a team is May 1, 2016. To enter a team, please contact us at: allpointstennis@gmail.com.

Player registration will remain open throughout the league season. A player must be registered prior to playing a match.

There will be no refunds and/or transfer of payment to another person after the season starts.

What Divisions (levels of play) are offered?
The following divisions are being offered: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5. Self-rated players are welcome and hybrid teams are allowed (see below).

Determining Team Rating
The average NTRP rating of the top two men and top two women players on your team determines the team rating.

       Example:
  Joe- 4.5 Mary- 3.5
  Tom- 4.5 Jill-3.5
  Bill- 4.0 Gail- 3.5
  Joe- 4.5 Mary- 3.5
  Jim- 3.5 Joan- 3.0

The best two men and two women are: 4.5 + 4.5 + 3.5 + 3.5 = 16. 16 divided by 4 equals 4.0.

This team could register for the 4.0 division or a higher division. A team consists of a minimum of two men and two women. Although the limit to the number of team members is ten, the suggested number of players is three men and three women. Click here to determine your NTRP level.
