Mile High World TeamTennis (SUMMER)
2018 Mile High Summer WTT

What is World TeamTennis?
WTT is co-ed teams competing in a format that consists of 6 no-ad sets. One set each of mens and womens doubles followed by mens and womens singles, ending with 2 sets of mixed doubles. Total games won from all sets determines the winner. Substitutions and coaching are allowed during the match. Click here to view WTT Rules
What is a WTT team?
A team must have two men and two women, as a minimum. (10 players maximum). Recommended team size is 6 to 8 players. This allows for periods of rest and missing matches. We also provide a list of approved substitutes for team back-ups.
Who can play?
Adults (18 & over) may sign up as a team or as an individual.
When do leagues start?
Matches are played on Friday evenings, beginning at 6:00 pm. Official league play begins July 14th and continues through to August 18th.
Sign-Up Deadline: Friday, July 7, 2017
All money and paperwork are due by this date. No refunds and/or transfer of payment to another person after the season starts.
What Divisions (levels of play) are offered?
The levels of play being offered are 3.5, 4.0, 4.5. We need a minimum of 4 teams in a division to hold the season.
Determining Team Rating
The average NTRP rating of the top two men and top two women players on your team determines the team rating.
  Joe- 4.5 Mary- 3.5
  Tom- 4.5 Jill-3.5
  Bill- 4.0 Gail- 3.5
  Joe- 4.5 Mary- 3.5
  Jim- 3.5 Joan- 3.0
The best two men and two women are: 4.5 + 4.5 + 3.5 + 3.5 = 16. 16 divided by 4 equals 4.0.
This team could register for the 4.0 division or a higher division. A team consists of a minimum of two men and two women. Although the limit to the number of team members is ten, the suggested number of players is three men and three women. Click here to determine your NTRP level.
Where do we play?
Matches will be played at:
Colorado Athletic Club - Inverness
374 Inverness Pkwy
Englewood, CO 80112
Can I register as an individual/substitute/team?
We strongly recommend that you put your team together and join as a team. Priority will be given to complete teams over individual sign-ups. However, you can register as an individual (we will make every effort to find an existing team for you to join in any given division), or as part of a partial team ( we will assign other players to complete your team). If you cannot commit to the entire season, we will place you on a substitute list. You will be called by myself or a team captain in the event they need a replacement player.
Note to substitute players:
Substitutes do not have to pay for the league at this time. You must register, however, and your playing is subject to the decision/judgment of the League Director who will independently assess your NTRP rating.
Why register via the Internet?
You are not an official league participant until you have registered online. When you register via the Internet site you will be e-mailed league information during the season and your WTT Member Benefits (WTT Point of Contact Newsletter, discounts on hotel, rental cars, 2 for 1 tickets, plus more).
What is the cost?
League fees are $30 for CACI members, and $60 for non-members.
League winners qualify for a National Qualifier?
Winning teams advance to the WTT National Qualifiers. Your team is eligible to participate in a NQ for up to one year from the end date of your league. For every four (4) teams in any official World TeamTennis (WTT) local league division, one (1) team will be eligible to participate in a NQ. Click here for more details.
Local League Information & Rules:
Mile High WTT is a fun, social, co-ed league where men and women of varying levels can play together in a team format on Friday nights. There are drinks and snacks available for purchase from CACI, and most players stay after the matches to socialize. WTT at CACI is the most fun tennis league of the summer!

To register a team, email, and give the Captain's name and desired level. The first (4) 3.5 teams, (4) 4.0 teams, and (4) 4.5 teams to register will be guaranteed a spot. After that, teams will be added based on court space, so register your team early!
