2021 WTT California High School Championships

What is World TeamTennis?
WTT is co-ed teams competing in a format that consists of 6 game, no-ad sets with tiebreakers at 5-5. Mens and Womens doubles, singles and mixed doubles sets will be played. Total games won from all sets determines the winner. Substitutions and coaching are allowed during the match. Click here to view WTT Rules
What is a WTT team?
Teams consist of a minimum of 3 boys and 3 girls and a Team Manager. Players must be entering Freshman, returning students in high school, or high school players that graduated spring 2021. Team Manager must be an adult (over 21) and can be a HS Coach, Teaching Pro, or Booster Club Parent.
Who can play?
Any California high school players from the same HS. Players must be entering freshman, returning students in high school or high school players that graduated in the spring of 2021. Minimum of 3 boys & 3 girls and a designated coach for each team.
When do leagues start?
D 3, 4 & 5: Sat, Jul 31: 12:00 Noon to 8:00 PM
D 1 & 2: Sun, Aug 1: 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM

What Divisions (levels of play) are offered?
Divisions will be based on UTR Levels of the teams.

Why register via the Internet?
You are not an official league participant until you have registered online. When you register via the Internet site you will be e-mailed league information during the season and your WTT Member Benefits (WTT Point of Contact Newsletter, discounts on hotel, rental cars, 2 for 1 tickets, plus more).
What is the cost?
Cost is $150 Team Entry Fee

Coaches/Captains will submit their team registration and pay the registration fee on PayPal for the team to be entered in the event.

League winners qualify for a National Qualifier?
Winning teams advance to the WTT National Qualifiers. Your team is eligible to participate in a NQ for up to one year from the end date of your league. For every four (4) teams in any official World TeamTennis (WTT) local league division, one (1) team will be eligible to participate in a NQ. Click here for more details.
Local League Information & Rules:
Three rounds using 6 courts, playing home and away for 2.5 hours.

Four rounds of 1 set matches: Rd One: 1 GD & 1 BD; Rd Two: 1 BS & 1 GS; Rd Three: 2 MXD sets. Total games won determines winner.

No-Ad Scoring, tiel breaker at 5-5, every game counts, subdtitutions allowed, no lets on serve, winner determined by the team with the most games won. If the trailing team wins the #1 Mixed Doubles set then the match will go into Overtime. A Mixed Doubles Super TieBreaker will be played if the score is tied after the third round or the trailing team ties the score in Overtime.
